If Only Logic Was Enough

Well it’s been a while since I’ve written in this space, I have been a little busy with some big life changes and building/construction work on the property. Wow what a journey this year has been so far… So I want to talk a little about the fears that I continue to face.

My last blog I talked about belief systems and how they can develop and even be hidden from us. Some of my beliefs are working overtime at the moment and now that I have finished constructions, creating space for my business, it is time to start building the business into the vision I see of a space where people are welcome to explore their needs and find a place to walk their own healing journey. Sounds great right, but here comes all my fears from old belief systems that are no longer serving me. I hold myself back with the fear of what if I’m not good enough or what if it doesn’t work? Funny isn’t it – the thoughts we have that just don’t serve us. I mean these thoughts are trying to protect me, our brains are amazing like that, only my logical brain knows it’s not a protection at all anymore. Its time for me to move past this old belief and open to new possibilities that this space is meant to be here and I can offer something to those who are called here. So how do walk through the fears, if only logic was enough we would all be living the perfect lives right…

A mentor of mine offered great advice sharing that acknowledging fear can helps us build a muscle of capacity to be with the fear and that building a place of resources to reroute ourselves and orient around this fear is challenging but totally an important muscle to develop in our wellbeing journey. So whilst my journey is forever ongoing I wanted to share this piece with you in an offering of acknowledgement of your feelings being absolutely welcomed and acknowledged. That the feelings we all experience come from a place of support, growth and nourishment, even though they are uncomfortable and can often push us out of a place we would rather stay in, our feelings are our guides and can teach us where we need to grow or what steps we need to take next.

We all need support, and thank goodness I have some wonderful people and horses around me to help me on my journey.  I didn’t always have these support so if you need support too, please reach out to someone or contact me to set up a session either face to face at the farm or via a video link. We don’t have to walk this path alone.

Wherever this lands for you today – I send my warmest wishes and support.
